To achieve this objective the Sub-fund will invest mainly in a diversified portfolio consisting of: debt securities of any maturity or rating (which may include predominantly below investment grade and/or unrated securities) issued by governments, government-related entities and corporations located in, or doing significant business in, developing or emerging markets and denominated in any currency. The Sub-fund may also invest in fixed and floating rate securities, asset and mortgage backed securities, convertible bonds, perpetual bonds, structured notes, exchange traded derivatives, OTC swaps (such as interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, credit default swaps on indices and total return swaps), forward foreign exchange contracts and preferred stocks.
