(RTTNews) - Dycom Industries, Inc. (DY), a provider of specialty contracting services, Wednesday announced that net income increased in the fourth quarter, compared to the prior year.

In the fourth quarter, earnings increased to $32.67 million from $23.42 million last year.

Earnings per share were $1.11 versus $0.79 prior year.

On an adjusted basis, profit increased to $34.53 million from $23.41 million the previous year.

Adjusted earnings per share were $1.17 versus $0.79 prior year.

Analysts, on average, had expected the company to earn $0.83 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Contract revenue rose 13.8 percent to $1.08 billion from $952.46 million last year.

Looking ahead to the first quarter of 2026 ending in April, the company expects contract revenue to range between $1.16 billion to $1.20 billion.

The Adjusted EBITDA is expected to range between $130.6 million to $140.6 million.

The earnings per share is projected to range between $1.50 to $1.73.

For the fiscal year ending January 2026, the company expects contract revenue to increase by 10% to 13%.

To note, Fiscal 2026 will have 53 weeks instead of 52 due to the company's fiscal calendar, with the extra week falling in the fourth quarter, which is usually affected by winter weather.
