EQS-Ad-hoc: Rath AG / Key word(s): Profit Warning Rath AG: profit warning 24.10.2025 Decline in EBIT expected for fiscal year 2025 Vienna, October 24, 2025 – The Management Board of Rath AG announces, based on the company’s latest internal forecast, that a decline in earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) is expected for the 2025 financial year compared to the previous year. The anticipated decline in results is primarily due to a significant decrease in revenue resulting from continued weak market demand. This is mainly attributable to order suspensions by customers and intensified price competition, which led to the loss of several contracts. To stabilize earnings, a comprehensive cost reduction program was initiated at the beginning of the year, the positive effects of which are expected to be reflected mainly in the second half of 2025 in the income statement. Nevertheless, due to the unexpected drop in sales, the Management Board anticipates a negative EBIT of approximately EUR 2.0 million.
