Piper Sandler Hires Three Key Infrastructure Investment Bankers
Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR), a leading investment bank, is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Leece, Jeremi Martin and Daniel Allmomen to its energy, power & infrastructure investment banking group. These three strategic hires, along with additional junior bankers, highlight a further expansion into the infrastructure sector, which includes not only traditional and renewable energy but also extends into the tech and transportation sectors.
"This is an exciting chapter for our global energy, power & infrastructure investment banking team. The addition of Paul, Jeremi and Daniel will bring deep sector expertise in infrastructure to Piper Sandler and act as a natural complement to our well-established and market-leading energy sector investment banking franchise,” said James Baker, global co-head of investment banking and capital markets at Piper Sandler.
Leece joins as a managing director and global head of infrastructure within the energy, power & infrastructure team based in London. Leece has over 20 years of experience and prior to joining the firm has worked at UBS, Credit Agricole and Cantor Fitzgerald. Over his career, he has worked on many mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, financing and restructuring transactions across a wide range of energy, power & infrastructure sub-sectors with a broad geographical reach. Leece graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Edinburgh.
Martin joins Piper Sandler as a managing director on the energy, power & infrastructure team. Prior to joining the firm, Martin worked as managing director at Cantor Fitzgerald within the power, energy & infrastructure group in London and at Credit Agricole CIB in Paris, London and New York. He has over 15 years of experience in the energy, power & infrastructure sectors. Martin received his master’s degree from HEC Paris.
Allmomen is a director on the energy, power & infrastructure team at Piper Sandler. Before that, Allmomen was part of the power, energy & infrastructure group at Cantor Fitzgerald and the infrastructure & utilities group at Credit Agricole CIB. Allmomen started his career at EY where he qualified as a chartered accountant and was part of the power & utilities corporate finance team. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester.
"Paul, Jeremi and Daniel are experienced investment banking professionals bringing over 40 years of experience within the infrastructure space.
