An associated objective is the preservation and enhancement of principal. The Fund will invest primarily in sovereign debt or debt-like securities with shorter-dated maturities, and in currencies. Securities and currencies will be rated Investment Grade, save that the Fund may purchase and hold up to 20% of the Net Asset Value of the Fund in securities rated below Investment Grade. Debt or debt-like securities with maturities less than or equal to five years are considered to have shorter-dated maturities. The Fund may also invest in securities of longer maturities.
