The Portfolio will seek to achieve its objective by using Numeric’s proprietary quantitative models to select equity securities for purchase or sale in order to allocate all or substantially all of its assets in accordance with the Man Numeric China strategy. The strategy involves taking long positions in relation to issuers in China, that represent, in the judgement of Numeric, an opportunity for investment gains in respect of China A Shares.
