SIX grants Meyer Burger further extension to publish its annual report until the end of August 2025

Meyer Burger Technology AG announces the decision by SIX Exchange Regulation AG to extend the deadline for publishing the 2024 annual report until the end of August 2025. A previous decision had set the deadline for the end of July 2025.

Meyer Burger is currently continuing negotiations on restructuring and partial sales by various group companies and is in talks with various parties. The negotiations could have a significant impact on the 2024 annual report until they are concluded, as they will have a major influence on the valuations and financial figures contained therein. The potential impact of these negotiations and such partial sales on the liquidity situation and the annual financial statements for the 2024 financial year, as well as on the valuations contained therein and on certain financial indicators of Meyer Burger, is very significant. The resulting need for adjustments and the lack of commitments to date regarding the coverage of the financing gap have made it impossible to complete and publish the annual financial statements until the relevant negotiation results are available.

Trading in Meyer Burger shares remains suspended.

As required by SIX Exchange Regulation, Meyer Burger is printing the following excerpt from the decision:

I. The temporary exemption from the publication of the 2024 annual report and the submission of this report to SIX Exchange Regulation AG by Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the latest, is approved subject to the following proviso (lit. a) and the following conditions (lit. b):

a. SIX Exchange Regulation AG temporarily suspended trading in securities of Meyer Burger Technology AG within the meaning of Art. 57 KR on June 2, 2025, until the company publishes its 2024 annual report in accordance with the provisions on ad hoc publicity (Art. 53 Listing Rules in conjunction with the Directive on Ad Hoc Publicity) and submits it to SIX Exchange Regulation AG. b. Meyer Burger Technology AG must publish a media release regarding this decision by 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the latest, in accordance with the regulations on ad hoc publicity. This media release must:

- contain the full text of section I of this decision in a prominent position;

- mention the reasons for the postponement of the publication and submission of the 2024 annual report.
